The exterior features an aerodynamic body, a low, wide stance, and available 16-inch or 17-inch alloy wheels, with subtle "hybrid" badging distinguishing it from the gas-only model.

The 2026 Elantra Hybrid delivers responsive yet smooth performance, featuring a 1.6-liter Atkinson-cycle engine paired with an electric motor for a combined output of 139 horsepower and a robust 195 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the front wheels via a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT), which offers a more engaging driving feel. The Blue trim is the most efficient, achieving an outstanding EPA-estimated 51 city / 58 highway MPG.

Inside, the 2026 Elantra Hybrid offers a spacious cabin with high-quality materials and a driver-focused cockpit design. Base Blue models feature an 8-inch touchscreen with standard wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™, while SEL Sport and Limited trims upgrade to available dual 10.25-inch screens for the infotainment and instrument cluster. The interior also includes features like dual-zone automatic climate control and available heated/ventilated front seats.
